A centrifugal air cleaner was built to naturally spin out heavy radon gas.  Testing found it also removed much lighter carbon monoxide.  More testing found that air friction was producing  a natural electrostatic separator that removed dust, toxic gases, allergens, and microbes.  Electronics were added to boost air cleaning, and a patent was acquired in 2018.  Recent study indicates COVID19 and many other airborne pathogens will be destroyed by the self cleaning electromagnetic tornado system.

Inventor's Background:

A graduate from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Mark Whitehead worked from 1988 through 2003, for the Allied-Signal Honeywell Corporation supporting the US Department of Energy, Kansas City Plant.  This government owned facility supported diverse manufacturing for the nation’s nuclear weapons stockpile.

Work responsibilities included interaction with national laboratory staff to characterize the nature and extent of chemical contamination under an Order on Consent with the USEPA.

Projects included the preparation of remediation contract documents and the oversite of contractor personnel performing chemical spill cleanup tasks, assuring compliance with applicable EPA and OSHA regulations.

In 2012, while employed by a foundation repair contractor, this engineer analyzed a radon test with a tide chart revealing that high and low radon matched high and low tide, nearly to the minute

This prompted a design effort to build an extraction system that could naturally remove radon through the normal operation of ventilation equipment.

The self-cleaning vortex extractor will reduce radon exposure, known to be the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, and the largest contributor to human background radiation exposure.

Advisory Team, Partial List:

The following team was compiled without formal agreements, and with no formal requirements.  However, the benefits of informal review and comments have been invaluable over the past decade.

These individuals must be held harmless for any liabilities evolving from the development of this technology.  However, none of the benefits of this technology could have advanced without their encouragement, and professional input.

Professor James Randolph (Retired) Pasadena Jet Propulsion Laboratory / NASA / California Institute of Technology.

Mission Kansas

Randolph reviewed and encouraged early development of the theory behind vortex extraction experiments and participated in numerous technical presentations.

Randolph coined the Trade-name “LEAPFROG” (Low Energy Plasma Friction Response Oxygen Generator) as a description of the operating physics and synergy of the electro-magnetic vortex extraction process embodied by the referenced US patents and registered Trademark.

Tom Buckley, President , First National Business Corporation

Independence, Missouri

Buckley has thirty years of business development and sales experience, including the internationally marketed vinyl repair product and brand Dr. Vinyl®.

He has organized investment groups supporting university and private research to demonstrate the benefits of LEAPFROG® Magnetic Vortex Pre-filtration (MVP.)

Buckley is actively soliciting collaboration with commercial developers to produce and market this new technology.

Charles McField, Chaplin, City Union Mission (Retired Manufacturing Engineer)

Kansas City Missouri

McField supported plastics manufacturing at the DOE/Honeywell Kansas City Plant, and other major corporations.  He has advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering  and an MBA.  He has provided valuable review comments concerning physics, chemistry, manufacturing, and marketing.

UMKC Professor, Emeritus, Paul Hilpman, Ph.D, Professional Engineering Geologist

Kansas City, MO

Dr. Hilpman is still actively consulting in engineering & environmental geology, frequently serving as an expert witness in litigation. He has extensive experience in radon research and has generously shared his time making valuable  comments related to radon experimentation.  Dr. Hilpman has also provided valuable input on the acquisition & use of local radioactive rocks (Stark shale) as a controlled source of radon in the laboratory.

Ronald C. Finke, President, Stewardship Capital

Independence, Missouri

Mr. Finke is a graduate from Stanford University, and Vanderbilt School of Law, and has over thirty years of diverse business experience, including the practice of law and financial services.   He is currently the principal of an investment advisory company, and is also active in local and national charitable causes.

Cris Hanson, Director, Engineering Laboratory, College of the Ozarks

Hanson has advanced degrees in chemical engineering and physics and has provided informal reviews of all aspects of the vortex separation process.  He has provided valuable input on the feasibility of  the underlying physics of "plasma vortex extraction."

Lane Seymour, Retired

Mgr., Fairfax Implement Co.

Fairfax, Mo

Honors graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and from the US Navy Nuclear Engineering Program.  Extensive business management and technical sales support for regional equipment company.

Mary Jane Wilder, Technical Writer

San Jose, CA

Broad administrative support for a diverse team of environmental scientists supporting top tier research in collaboration with a top tier university.  Wilder has supported many technical presentations having a global impact on environmental science.

Denise Chapman, Atty. Mashburn Law

Lee’s Summit, MO

Intellectual Property consultant and patent lawyer.  Supported submission of US Patent and Trademark registration.  Negotiated with USPTO, responded to office actions, and successfully acquired agreement winning issuance of two patents supporting Leapfrog technology.

Mike Whitehead, Atty.

Lee’s Summit, MO.

National constitutional liberty attorney providing personal and business legal services.  He has extensive executive management experience.  His work has included corporate and personal law.

He has successfully presented and supported cases before the United States Supreme Court.  Though his services are in national demand, he has sacrificially invested time and talent to support his brother’s technical efforts.

Many others have provided encouragement, funding, and valuable time to support the efforts of Leapfrog Air Physics, LLC.  The Inventor deeply appreciates their valuable contributions.
